Project Scope – Opaheke School
- The current classroom block consisting of 4 classrooms is old including double corridors. The classrooms are all separated and not an ideal environment for ILE purposes.
- Floor and lighting require replacement.
- Replace current exterior East side windows with Bi fold doors to allow better access to the exterior.
- Replace all flooring with new carpet tiles, replace old lighting with new LED lighting.
- New paint to lighten up the interior surfaces.
Open partially the internal wall between classrooms 10 & 11. - On the Eastern side of the classroom block, provide for cantilever type shade canopy to extend approx. 3.0m off the building.
- Boiler radiators and pipe work will require moving, with walls made good. New heat pumps will be replaced
